We have found several team members that are driven to honor the memory of the fallen. Unfortunately this year has been more devastating than most for many Texas departments. This has made us even more driven to make sure they are not forgotten and that the awareness to this issue is kept at a high level. I am so excited for the up coming year and pray that we do not have to add anymore names to the wall. I have updated the site and welcome any comments or suggestions ya ll have for it.

A Sad Day

Today is a sad dark day for Odessa, today two heroes lost there lives protecting a community and one still fights for his. Our prayers and thoughts go out to the families and the department. This hits at home for us and reminds me to live each day to its fullest and to always tell your family and friends how much you love them everyday.
Heroes live forever. Maggie

Police Unity Tour 2007

Well, we have done it again. The Police Unity Tour 2007 is completed and we had the best year ever. The guys made it through the ride with no serious problems and the weather was just how us Texans like it. We had an awesome time as usaual. We met up with old friends and made new ones. We have gained a new member this year and he is just as motivated and driven for the cause as we are. We raised more money this year than ever and thanks to our supporter it is still coming in. I thank God every day for the opportunity to be a part of this vision and help make it a reality every year. Next year will be our fifth ride with the Unity Tour and we can finally be called veterans of the ride. We have finally gotten our name out there and have met some wonderful people that can help us with the cause. I will be updating our website with some of the thousands of pictures we have. I want to thank Cathy Hill with Greater Houston COPS for meeting with us and showing us such support. I also want to thank Candice Conner for her support of us. The teddy bears all made the ride unharmed and most are in the arms of the survivors now with the others to soon join. I can not put into words the feeling you have when you experience the ride and the memorial. I feel that everyone needs to visit the memorial to get that feeling. I also want to thank all the Texas officers that came on their own time to show there love and support to the families. On June 9th some of our members will participate in a 5K for Matthew Myrick, and I will get those pictures up on the site afterwords. Thank you to all our supporters and may God bless ya ll.
 Maggie

Another Ride Upon Us

Another ride is only 36 days away, as we prepare for the ride I look over the stories of the officers we ride for and pray for their families and co-workers. This year like the previous years we will have a Trooper Teddy and a bracelet with an officers name and EOW on it that will make the ride. On the last night at the candle light vigil we will try and meet all the families of those officers we rode for and give them their Teddy's and bracelets. We will spend these last remaining days raising as much money as possible to give to the Unity Tour. Thank you to all our supporters, we could not be on this awesome journey without yall.
